The children were learning about the 5 main food groups and how they help to keep our bodies fit and healthy.
The children worked in groups of 4 and had to come to the front of class, one at a time, to look at a food groups diagram. They then had to go back to their team and draw what they could remember on their blank food wheel. They repeated this process multiple times until they had completed their work.
This allowed the children the opportunity practice their team work skills whilst learning which foods are in each group. Afterwards, we discussed each group and what they do for us.
