This week we have started our athletics topic within P.E. lessons. We began by learning all about the triple jump, we watched a film of Johnathan Edwards breaking the world record twice and then we had a go ourselves! We had to develop our technique after each jump in order to try and maximise the distance we were jumping each time. We started off by measuring our jumps using paces but we quickly progressed to using tape measures to get accurate distances for each jump!
