Year 4 had a wonderful time on their 3 day residential trip to Bamburgh. We explored the local area and learnt about its geography and history. We had a great time visiting Bamburgh Castle, The Grace Darling Museum, Etal and Ford, Heatherslaw Mill and Berwick, not to mention a chilly morning on Holy Island!

We got to dress up and act out the Grace Darling rescue story and we searched for St. Cuthbert’s beads on the shore at Lindisfarne.

We also all went to the beach of course, where we built sandcastles, played games and mixed brilliantly with our friends. We we all wonderfully behaved and came home tired but happy!
